I knew I wanted a machine that would be EASY TO USE, do more than just straight or zigzag stitching, have a good reputation, and not cost a lot of money. I did a lot of research and decided upon this Brother CP7500, and I'm sure glad I did. It is so easy to use I can't believe it--20 minutes after it arrived I was repairing my jacket. The instructions are easy to understand (there are even diagrams on the machine) and make it easy to wind bobbins, thread the machine, and to sew different stitches--just pick one and the computer sets everything up. Stitch settings are easily adjustable, and this machine is very quiet and smooth.This sewing machine has several features that make it easy to use, even for me, but the ones I like the most are: 1. slider control for speed--super slow to super fast. 2.
