I bought this machine because it was portable and I didn't want to invest in an expensive machine until I knew I would like sewing. It come already threaded and the instructions are easy to follow. The first time I used it, it did perfect. No problems at all except I can't sew a straight line yet. I was ready to use it with batteries and open the box to my suprise the adapter is included. I use it to hem some pants and fix the zipper on my dogs bed. It works perfect!!! I never sown in my life, hate it, but this machine made it fun. The foot pedal is a great tool. Instructions could be more helpful or graphic since markets those inexperienced (like me).
